After confirmation, if you need to cancel any number of nights of a reservation more than 14 days from your arrival date, a refund less a $25 administrative fee will be issued. If you need to cancel any number of nights of a reservation within 14 days of arrival, the entire balance due (if any) will be charged and retained.
Day of arrival or after check-in: full payment (if any) will be taken and no-shows or stays cut short for any reason are not subject to a refund.
NOTE: If you have made your reservation through a 3rd party website (Booking.com, Expedia, etc), your cancellation policy may be different. Some of these companies do not "fit" into our preferred format and require us to alter our policies.
Balances for holidays are due in full when making the reservation or no later than 30 days prior to arrival.
Early / Late Arrivals
Check in time: 3:00pm / Check out time: 10:00am. Office hours are 9 am—7pm. If you plan on arriving after our offices will be closed, there will be a sign in the office window listing your name and cabin number. That cabin door will be open, lights and heat on for your late arrival. If you have any special circumstances, give us a phone call.
If you will be arriving early, give us a call at least a day before, if we have a chance to clean your room first, we will.
Maximum Number of Guests per Cabin
No more than maximum persons per unit are allowed of any age, no exceptions, (2 person in Studio; 4 persons in 1-bdrm cabins; 6 persons in 2-bedrooms or Main House). Guests arriving with more than the maximum number of guests allowed per cabin will be offered a second cabin (if available), but will NOT be allowed to register with more than the maximum. If it is discovered that a cabin has more than the allowed maximum after check-in, all guests will be asked to leave and there will be no refund.
Non-registered guests not allowed to use facilities. We do make exceptions for a group outdoor bbq/dinner, just ask. The use of cabins kitchen and shower facilities are for registered guests only.
No Smoking Policy
All of our cabins are non-smoking. The buckets in the courtyard are provided for your outdoor smoking. After your departure, should your room have a smoke smell that requires a deep cleaning, there is a $50.00 service fee PLUS the charge for as many days room rental that are needed to clean the room PLUS the cost to relocate the guests who are next booked into your room. Smoke smell can come from many places including: second hand smoke, from smoking on the porch/near open door, by ashes, cigarette butts. WHATEVER THE CAUSE, if the smell prevents us from re-selling the room without a deep cleaning, you will be charged.
Our cabins are housekeeping units and we do not offer daily maid service. We ask guests upon departure to remove trash/garbage and wash dishes. We'll be happy to exchange towels, provide an extra supply of paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, other amenities or arrange for housekeeping services.
There is a 12% county bed tax added to all rates. We do NOT offer additional guests over the maximum allowed per cabin for an extra fee. One discount or special per reservation.
Due to the construction of our 1950’s buildings, wheelchair access is not recommended into and inside our guest rooms. There are stairs (from 1-3) into each room. The hallways/doorways in the rooms are no more that 21” across. Outdoor walkways are uneven and not flat.
No, our property today is not "on the lake". In 1950 when Lake Front Cabins built its first "Main House" there was no Brenner Street. At that time the business was truly "lake front", access to the June Lake Marina was from Main Street down a boardwalk to Camp Culver. Obviously since that time Brenner Street was built as the road leading to the June Lake Marina. Today we sit across the street (Brenner) from June Lake (about 500 feet from the waters edge) and still next door to the June Lake Marina.
For our busy summer season, we have minimum stays if you want to book 6-12 months prior to arrival. Return guests have first option to the same cabin they had the previous year.
2019 reservations require a 2-night deposit by February 1, 2019. Unpaid deposits will cancel the reservation and that cabin will be open to the public for sale beginning February 1, 2019.
